DMARC Setup Guide for cPanel Email Authentication

This guide will show you how you can set up a DMARC record so to help with achieving better email delivery rates and passing email spam filters DMARC checks.

Generate a DMARC record which you can use inside cPanel, we'd recommend using this DMARC Generator

Login to cPanel and go to the Zone Editor section

Click the + Manage button next to the domain you are setting up the DMARC record for

Click the dropdown arrow next to Add Record and select Add TXT Record

Create a TXT entry on your domain with these settings:

Type: TXT
Host: _dmarc
TXT Value: (DMARC record from start of guide)
TTL: 1 hour

Ensure sure the record type is TXT, host is set to _dmarc, value is set to the record we generated earlier.

Click the Save Record button to save the settings, your DMARC record is now set up.
